Terms of Service

1. The short version

Pic2Emoji turns one photo into a custom emoji pack. Packs are sold one at a time — there is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. Static packs are $2.99, animated packs are $5.99, in US dollars.

Your stickers are generated by AI, so they are an artistic redraw rather than a photo cut-out. You own what you generate, and you promise you have the right to the photo you upload.

If you are not happy with your first purchase, email us within 7 days and we refund you. Card details are handled entirely by our payment provider, Waffo Pancake — they never touch our servers.

2. Who you are dealing with

These terms are an agreement between you and the independent individual operating Pic2Emoji as a sole trader (the “Operator”, “we”, “us”, “our”), the service behind pic2emoji.com.

Legal, billing and support questions all go to [email protected] and are answered within 2 business days. We operate online only: there is no phone line and no public street address. A postal address for formal notices can be provided on request.

3. The service

Pic2Emoji is an AI photo to emoji converter. You provide one photo; we generate a pack of 8 custom emoji reactions featuring the same character, in one consistent style.

Two pack types are offered: a static pack (8 PNG stickers) and an animated pack (the same set with motion). Everything you see on the product page, including the example sets, is real output from our engine.

4. AI-generated content — please read

All Pic2Emoji output is AI-generated. The stickers are an original artistic interpretation of your photo, not a copy of it, and not a likeness guaranteed to be accurate. Faces, colours, expressions and details will differ from the original image.

We generate your pack using OpenAI's GPT Image image-generation model (the model family that includes DALL·E), accessed through our generation partner Mojime. We do not use your photos or your generated stickers to train models for other customers, and we do not add them to any public gallery without your permission.

Because output is generated by a model, we cannot promise it will be free of artefacts, or that two packs made from the same photo will look identical. If a result is clearly unusable, tell us and we will regenerate it or refund you under section 8.

5. What you promise about your photo

You may only upload a photo you have the right to use. That means one of the following must be true:

• It is a photo of you, taken by you or with your permission.
• It is a photo of someone else who has agreed to be turned into emoji, or of a child in your care.
• It is a photo you own the copyright to, or you have a licence that allows this kind of use.

6. Prices, taxes and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars: $2.99 for a static pack and $5.99 for an animated pack. Both are one-time charges — you pay once per pack and nothing renews.

Prices are exclusive of taxes unless the checkout page states otherwise. Where the law requires it, VAT, GST, sales tax or similar is calculated and added at checkout.

Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake as Merchant of Record. Waffo Pancake is the legal seller of your pack, collects and remits applicable taxes, and handles the card transaction on a hosted checkout page. Your full card number is processed only by Waffo Pancake and is never stored on Pic2Emoji servers.

Your receipt and invoice come from Waffo Pancake and show their merchant details together with our support email.

7. Delivery

After a successful payment we start generating your pack. Delivery is by email to the address you gave at checkout, and the finished pack is also available in your order page.

We aim to deliver within 24 hours. If generation fails, or we have not delivered within 72 hours, you can choose a full refund or a regeneration at no extra cost.

8. Refunds

Digital goods are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, but we do not hide behind that. We refund in the cases below, and we never advertise a no-refunds policy.

• First purchase, within 7 days, and you are unhappy with the result — full refund.
• We failed to deliver within 72 hours, or generation failed — full refund or a free regeneration, your choice.
• You were charged twice for the same pack — the duplicate charge is refunded in full.
• Output is unusable (for example, the face is unrecognisable or badly broken) — tell us within 14 days and we refund or regenerate.
• Where the law gives you a right of withdrawal (including the EU/UK 14-day cooling-off period for digital content that has not yet been delivered), we honour it.

9. What we do not refund

Once a pack has been generated and delivered to you, later charges for additional packs are non-refundable unless one of the cases in section 8 applies. We also do not refund where you uploaded a photo you had no right to use, or where the request is abusive or part of a pattern of buying and refunding.

10. No subscription, no cancellation needed

Every pack is a one-off purchase. We do not run trials that convert into paid plans, we do not auto-renew, and we never store a payment method for future charges. There is nothing to cancel — when you stop buying packs, billing stops.

11. What you may do with your stickers

The pack you paid for is yours: a personal, worldwide, perpetual licence to use the stickers in chats, profiles, status updates, slides and personal posts. You may not resell the pack, sell it as stock art, register it as a trademark, or use it to train a competing image-generation model.

We keep ownership of the Pic2Emoji service, the site and our generation pipeline. Nothing in these terms transfers our underlying technology to you.

12. Acceptable use

You may use Pic2Emoji only for lawful, personal purposes. You must not create, upload or request any of the following:

• Unlawful content — anything that violates an applicable law or regulation.
• Violent or graphic content — gore, serious injury, or depictions of violence or harm against people or animals, including content that glorifies such violence.
• Harassment and hate — content that bullies, threatens or targets an individual or group based on identity.
• Sexually explicit content — pornography, sexualised imagery, or anything that sexualises or exploits minors.
• Impersonation or likeness abuse — photos of public figures, celebrities or third-party characters used to impersonate them or sell their likeness.
• Infringing content — copyrighted artwork, logos or brand assets you do not own or have a licence to use.
• Abuse of the service — reverse engineering, scraping, overloading the service, or building a competing dataset.

13. Content moderation

Every upload is checked automatically before it is turned into stickers, including a review of the photo's subject. Outputs are reviewed before delivery, and where a result is flagged or its status is uncertain, the order is held for manual review by a human moderator and is not delivered automatically.

If content violates these terms, we may refuse or cancel the order, withhold delivery, and block access to the service. We will not refund an order that relied on a photo you had no right to use.

To report content you believe violates these terms, or to appeal a moderation decision, email [email protected] and include the email address you used at checkout. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

14. Availability and liability

The service is provided as is. We work to keep it fast and available but we do not promise uninterrupted operation, and because output is AI-generated we do not promise it will match your photo or suit a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that pack. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

15. Changes and termination

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will post it here and give at least 14 days' notice by email before it takes effect. You may stop using the service at any time; sections 8 to 14 survive termination.

16. Contact

Billing questions, refund requests and takedown notices all go to [email protected]. Please include the email address you used at checkout and, for billing issues, the transaction reference from your Waffo Pancake receipt. There is no phone line or public street address. We acknowledge within 2 business days; eligible refunds return to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
